Seemingly obvious - surely decisive
For me, policy is a system linking measures to politically desired outcomes in a reasonable way. As such, it structures our societal coexistence and is subject to continuous democratic debate.
Policymaking is the field where theoretical ideas and interests are poured into practical solutions. It taught me that the same problem can be framed in diverse ways according to differing stakeholder perspectives.

Strong beliefs can be helpful to achieve goals. Policymaking requires the ability to change one's opinion. There should always be room to integrate former unknowns.
